Nintendo DS Brain Training

Year 7 students have been taking advantage of a new programme running in the City Learning Centre.

The Nintendo DS Brain Training sessions are taking place before the school day starts. Staff have already commented on how attendance and punctuality have improved among the Year 7 students taking part.

City of Leeds Mentor Ray Wilkes commented “It’s remarkable, give them the opportunity to use an interesting piece of technology and they’re knocking at the door in the morning, it’s great”.

The first series of sessions are running at the Derek Fatchett City Learning Centre on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings form 08:30. Anyone else interested in taking part speak to Mr Wilkes.
